HOUSE OF SMALL SHADOWS REVIEWED IN SFX

By 19th October 2013Uncategorised

If you can stand another blast from my old bone horn, what might be my strongest review from SFX to date (bit of a bogey publication for me in the past) has also clambered in through a partially open window: “Part haunted-houser, part homunculus horror, part Wicker Man Cult caper … you can’t fault Nevill’s excruciating ability to turn the screw. If nothing else, House of Small Shadows is highly likely to induce nightmares set to the sound of the pattering tap of tiny wooden feet (issue 241).”

I also get a sense that the book genuinely horrified the reviewer: whaddya want from me?
