Gutshot – Now available in limited edition

By 2nd September 2011Uncategorised

I have a new short story published today in the PS Publishing Collection, Gutshot: Weird West Stories. In fact, my contribution is a long short story at 10K words – What God Hath Wrought? – and features my interpretation of the western genre crossed with supernatural horror. The collection is edited by my good friend and the author of One and The Unblemished, Conrad Williams.

I’m in august company. It’s an honour to ride alongside all of these hombres, but had you told me ten years ago I would be in a collection of short fiction with Michael Moorcock, I’d have considered you a peddler of false charms and snake oil. Here’s the full cast of my fellow outlaws in this posse of weird fiction:

Passage by Alan Peter Ryan
The Black Rider by James Lovegrove
The Alabaster Child by Cat Sparks
The Ghost Warriors by Michael Moorcock
Blue Norther by Zander Shaw
In the Sand Hills by Thomas Tessier
